Conditions of use

Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurers are provided with access to DRIVES in accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions of their DRIVES Terms Of Access Agreement ("DToA"). The following Conditions of Use do not replace the DToA.

You must not proceed or attempt to proceed beyond the login screen for DRIVES unless your employer has authorised you as a DRIVES User and been approved by the RTA.

By proceeding past this login screen you agree to abide by the following Conditions of Use and the DToA when you use DRIVES

1. Your Password

  1. Your password must be kept secure and separate from your User ID.
  2. You must not disclose your password to anyone else and must immediately advise your employer should you become aware that an unauthorised person knows or may know your password.
  3. You must not share User IDs or passwords.


 

2. Use of DRIVES

  1. You must only access DRIVES from your employer's Premises which are permitted under DToA.
  2. You must only use DRIVES for and during the proper course of your employment.
  3. Any DRIVES information which you create must be correct and accurate.
  4. You must comply with any guidelines, instructions and/or procedures implemented by your employer in relation to access and/or use of the DRIVES information.
  5. You must not misuse DRIVES information or carry out any activities, which may compromise the security or integrity of any DRIVES information.


 

3. Unauthorised Disclosure

  1. You must not disclose any DRIVES information to any persons except:
    1. Your colleagues who are authorised by your employer to access and use the DRIVES information and who require the information for the purposes of their employment;
    2. Any person(s) approved in writing by your employer;
    3. Any person to whom you are required by law to disclose DRIVES information provided you notify your employer before the disclosure.
  2. You must immediately notify your employer if you become aware of any suspected misuse of DRIVES information.
  3. If requested by your employer, you must return to your employer, or otherwise dispose of in the manner instructed by your employer, all DRIVES information or other documentation or materials relating to DRIVES in your possession or control and cease to use DRIVES and DRIVES information.
